Black Belts act as project managers in Six Sigma projects and can be appointed independent of the sector. Their knowledge in statistics and methodology enables them to carry out projects successfully. During the project they are supported in terms of methodology by a Master Black Belt. Black Belts are usually involved in the projects 100%, meaning they are completely exempted from operational tasks. Within the organization, they report to the leader of the organizational unit and the Six Sigma champion.

It is mandatory to complete a written test to obtain certification. The test is conducted according to international rules (DIN EN ISO 17024). In addition either a case study (theoretical project) has to be dealt with or a practical project has to be handed in.
We follow the standards of the ASQ (American Society for Quality) and the LEAN Association.
You will be certified by a university or another authorized certifying organization.
